ADHD & Confidence

When There’s Too Much Going On

When there is too much going on in your mind, it can be difficult to know what actually needs your attention. Thoughts, possibilities, unfinished tasks, decisions, emotions and responsibilities can all compete for space at once.

You may know something needs to change, yet still not know where to begin. So you think harder, try harder, search for another system or look for the right answer, and somehow end up carrying even more.

Underneath it can sit another layer of questioning: Am I doing enough? Why can’t I just get on with this? Am I making the right decision? Can I trust myself?

ADHD coaching gives us somewhere to slow this down, understand what is happening and begin finding a clearer way forward.

From chaos and confusion to clearer navigation

We begin by bringing what is happening into view. Together, we untangle the thoughts, emotions, responsibilities, expectations and needs that may have become mixed together, so you can see more clearly what actually needs your attention.

From there, we explore what may be driving the patterns you are experiencing and what could help.

The next step might be a decision, a conversation, a boundary, a practical tool, a different way of approaching something or permission to stop pushing.

You do not need to know the whole route. We choose, try, learn and adjust, helping you build greater confidence in how you navigate yourself and your life.

The Transformation

The aim is not a perfectly ordered mind. It is knowing yourself well enough to find your bearings when life becomes busy, uncertain or overwhelming.

Over time, confusion can become greater clarity, self-questioning can become self-understanding and self-trust, overwhelm can create more room for choice, and stuckness can begin to shift into movement.

You may become more decisive, clearer about what matters and more confident in your next steps. You can develop tools, habits and structures that support you rather than trying to control you. Life can still be busy, attention can still move quickly and emotions can still feel intense.

The difference is that you become better able to recognise what is happening, know when to act and when to pause, ask for what you need and find your way forward again

This coaching may not be the right fit if...

This coaching may not be the best fit if you are looking primarily for productivity techniques, planning systems or quick solutions for managing tasks and routines. Practical strategies can absolutely be part of the work, but they sit within a broader process of understanding how you think, feel, respond and navigate your life.

The work is most useful when you are able to take an active part in the process, reflect between sessions and experiment with what we explore together.

Coaching is also not a replacement for psychotherapy, medical care or crisis support. If you are currently experiencing an acute crisis or significant emotional instability, therapeutic or clinical support may need to come first, with coaching becoming more appropriate once there is enough stability to engage safely.

Complimentary Consultation

You don’t need to have everything worked out before we speak. The consultation is a focused conversation to understand what is happening, what you would like to change, and where support could make the biggest difference.

We can explore how ADHD is showing up in your life, what feels difficult or stuck, what is taking most of your energy, and what you would like to feel or do differently.

The aim is for you to leave with greater clarity about what you need, what your next step could be, and whether working together feels like the right fit.

Access to Work Grant for ADHD

If you're employed or self-employed in the UK, you may be eligible for Access to Work funding to cover the cost of ADHD coaching.

Access to Work is a government grant that supports employees with disabilities or health conditions, including ADHD, to access workplace adjustments and coaching. Many people don't realise coaching is covered.

If you're interested in using Access to Work, you apply directly through the government portal, and once approved, we can begin working together.
