ADHD Relationship Coaching

Relate as yourself, at work and at home.
ADHD shapes how you connect, communicate and handle pressure, so relationships can easily be misread on both sides. We work across three: with yourself, at work and at home. We start with the relationship with yourself, because it shapes the other two.
This is one-to-one coaching for adults with ADHD who are ready to understand how they connect, communicate and react, and to build relationships where they don’t have to perform.

You Might Recognise This
You forget a birthday, and it is read as not caring, when you care a great deal.
A short message from someone you love, or a “can we have a quick chat?” from your manager, and your mind runs through every possible meaning.
You rehearse conversations in advance, then over-explain when you finally have them.
You go along with things to keep the peace, and feel it later.
You are warm and good company, and you need a quiet evening afterwards to recover.
None of this is a flaw in you. It is how your mind meets other people, and it can be understood.
Relationships
With yourself
Years of adapting to expectations that didn’t fit can blur what you actually want. We look at patterns like masking, seeking reassurance and second-guessing, and build trust in your own judgement, so being yourself takes less effort.
At work
Work can be tiring even when you are good at it: over-preparing, worrying how you come across, saying yes too fast, or staying quiet when you disagree. Whether you lead, manage or work in a team, we explore what drives this and test new ways to speak up, set limits and share responsibility.
At home
Closeness, conflict and feeling understood can all look different with ADHD. We look at how you respond to criticism, overwhelm and misunderstanding, then move to practical steps: new responses, difficult conversations and boundaries you can keep. You decide which expectations are yours to keep.

What Can Change
-
Saying what you need, clearly and without over-explaining
-
Hearing feedback without it landing as rejection
-
Boundaries you can actually hold
-
Less masking, more ease in being yourself
-
Relationships that feel more mutual and less like hard work
-
Feeling heard and understood able to express yourself
How the Work Goes
The focus is awareness and choice: how ADHD shapes the way you communicate, rest and ask for what you need, and what you would like to change.
Coaching is one-to-one. The other people in your life don’t need to take part, because change in one person changes the relationship.
This is coaching, not therapy or couples therapy, and it does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

Complimentary Consultation
This free 30-minute call is for both of us to check whether coaching is the right fit.
We will talk about what you are looking for and what you need, how I work, and what working together would look like in practice. You can ask anything you would like to know.
It is not a coaching session. It is a clear, honest conversation, so you can decide whether this feels right. No pressure either way.
